Vibe Check March 2021

Vibe Check March 2021

Welcome to the monthly Vibe Check! The segment where we talk about our experiences from the past month, highlighting the things that made it special!
Here's what we've been up to in March:

Wesley:
Released just one year ago, Half-Life: Alyx is the latest installment in the Half-Life series. It broke Valve's 7-year pause between games (not counting Artifact) and anyone who played is likely to agree that it was worth the wait. Let's just hope it doesn't take 7 years for the next one!

Wesley: "I finally played through Half-Life: Alyx this month. What a game! Definitely the most atmospheric and immersive VR experience I've had so far. I'm also very excited to finally see the Half-Life series continued.
Next up on my list: Boneworks!"

Quentin:
You'd be living under a rock if you hadn't heard of it: Attack on Titan is what kept Quentin interested this month! AoT, which started airing in Spring of 2013, is currently on its fourth and final season. Summarized in one sentence, it's about a group of survivors seeking to reclaim and protect their city from Titans. Be sure to check it out!

Quentin: "I started watching AoT when the first season aired. Because we had to wait so long for season 2, I never got around to watching the rest. However, I am doing so right now and I'm loving the animation and new story developments a lot!"

James:
At the Kaomoji office it's never quiet because we always work with music in the background! This month, James put together a Spotify playlist filled with a bunch of music we like hearing while we work!
Find the playlist here!

James: "We pass each other the AUX cord every day, so we have a huge variety of music we listen to. I've made a playlist with songs we listen to at the office! :-) It's filled with music that's chill, easy listening, cozy, energetic and more!"

Dave:
What kept Dave busy this month is nothing other than his trusty bass guitar! Though he's been playing for a while, this past month he's truly done his best to improve his skills.

Dave: "I finally picked up on how to play semi-decent bass guitar and it's been the most fun I've had in quite a while. Some of my friends even asked me if I was interested in starting a band!"

Thanks for reading! Hopefully we inspired you to check out something new. Stay tuned for next month's issue!
